(…or the 18th if you’re counting August Quinn’s entire literary multiverse, which we absolutely are.)
EWING, NJ — December 2025 — AQ Books proudly announces the publication of its 14th title of the year, officially cementing 2025 as the year August Quinn said, “What if I just… published everything?” — and then actually did it.
With this newest release, August Quinn closes out the year with 18 books published in 2025 alone —4 released under a previous imprint and14 released under AQ Books, the indie powerhouse that rose from chaos, caffeine, and a bulldog wearing pajamas.
This latest title marks another milestone in the unstoppable momentum of AQ Books, which has rapidly evolved from a dream into a full-scale unapologetic publishing engine. From memoirs that crack you open, to queer romance that wrecks your soul in 4K, to dog-centric imprints that somehow keep winning the internet, AQ Books has proven that independent publishing isn’t just viable — it’s a whole vibe.
A Year Defined by Momentum, Mastery, and Zero Chill
“Most publishers take years to build a catalog,” said August Quinn. “I took… like… a year. And a half. On accident.”He then added, “No regrets. Indie was the best choice I ever made. My stories finally sound like me — and they sound damn good.”
2025 saw AQ Books reclaim early titles, relaunch them with full creative control, and then accelerate into a release schedule that can only be described as borderline feral productivity. The result? A catalog as bold, diverse, emotional, queer, funny, and deeply human as the readers who’ve embraced it.
The AQ Books Ecosystem Keeps Expanding
With imprints like:
Bulldog Books (Roxi-approved; chaos guaranteed)
Alpha Wisdom (Xena’s philosophical era)
Unapologetic Voices (memoirs with claws)
Grace Without Apology (faith without fear)
…AQ Books is no longer just a publisher. It’s a home for voices that refuse to shrink.
A Milestone Worth Barking About
Roxi, VP of Snacks & Chaos, offered a statement through her publicist (August):
“Fourteen books? In one year? Couldn’t be me. I took three naps just trying to read the announcement.”
Xena, Chief Emotional Support Officer, declined to comment but did stare meaningfully into the distance, which we have decided to interpret as approval.
What’s Next?
More books.
More chaos.
More unfiltered August Quinn energy.
2026 is already looking stacked, unhinged, and undeniably iconic.

STATEMENT FROM AUGUST QUINN
“Look… when I said I was going indie, I didn’t mean ‘publish 18 books in one calendar year like a man possessed.’ But here we are — 14 under AQ Books, 18 total, and not a single regret in sight.
People keep asking me if I’m exhausted. Babe, I’ve transcended exhaustion. I live in a permanent state of iced coffee, ambition, and delusion — and honestly? It’s working.
This newest release isn’t just another book on the shelf. It’s proof that when you take back your power, put your foot on the gas, and listen to your gut instead of gatekeepers, magic happens. Weird, chaotic, deeply queer magic. But magic.
I built AQ Books so I could tell stories the way they were meant to be told — loud, raw, messy, honest, and completely unapologetic. And the readers? Y’all showed up for me in ways I still don’t know how to process without getting emotional. So I’ll just say this:
Thank you for letting me build an empire out of glitter, bulldog snoring, and trauma jokes.
Thank you for proving that indie authors can not only thrive — we can dominate.
And buckle up. If you think 2025 was wild… wait until you see what I unleash next.
