Refund Policy
Returns & Refunds Policy
This is the Returns & Refunds Policy for August Quinn Books. Spoiler alert: I don’t have a secret warehouse full of unsold novels guarded by bulldogs. All purchases are handled by Amazon, which means all returns and refunds are too.
1. Who Handles Returns?
Every single book you buy is processed, shipped, and tracked by Amazon. That also means:
-
Returns and exchanges are subject to Amazon’s policies.
-
Refunds are issued directly by Amazon.
-
I never see your return label, your box, or the passive-aggressive note you might want to include.
-
2. How to Request a Return or Refund
-
Log into your Amazon account.
-
Go to Your Orders.
-
Select the book and click Return or Replace Items.
-
Follow Amazon’s process (they’ve got it down to a science).
If you get stuck, Amazon Customer Service is your best bet.
3. Condition of Returns
Amazon generally accepts returns if the book is in new condition, and they’ll let you know if your particular case qualifies. If Roxi drooled on the pages, Cookie typed all over the margins, or Xena decided it was a chew toy—yeah, that’s on you.
4. Refund Timing
Refunds are issued directly by Amazon. Depending on your bank, it may take a few business days for funds to show up. Please don’t email me asking where your $12.99 went—I’ll just have to send you right back to Amazon.
5. Our Role (aka The Fun Part)
-
I write the books.
-
Amazon sells, ships, and handles the boring money part.
-
You get to laugh, cry, or side-eye your way through my stories.
That’s the deal.
