Accessibility Statement for August Quinn Books

At August Quinn Books, we believe stories should be for everyone—no exceptions. Whether you’re here for the memoirs, the unapologetic queer rom-coms, or just to check on Roxi and Xena’s latest chaos, our goal is to make this website accessible and usable for all visitors.

Our Commitment

We are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We continually improve the user experience by following relevant accessibility standards, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level.

What We’re Doing

  • Regularly reviewing and updating our site to improve accessibility features.

  • Using alt text for images (because Roxi’s side-eye deserves a proper description).

  • Maintaining clear navigation and readable text across devices.

  • Testing colors and contrasts so you can read comfortably (even if you skipped your glasses).

Ongoing Effort

Accessibility is not a one-time project—it’s an ongoing promise. We know technology and standards evolve, and we’ll continue to adapt so this site remains inclusive and welcoming.
