Stories for the loud, the queer, the mid-life reinventors.
The four-legged friends who keep me sane.

“I’m the star.” — Roxi.
“Incorrect.” — Xena.

Meet the Dogs of the Past
Sure, Roxi and Xena may run the house now—but let’s be honest, the crown was worn first by the ones who came before. This page is dedicated to the original bosses: Noelle, Madilyn, Emma Jeanne, Winston Churchill, and George IV. They were furry, loyal, occasionally flatulent, and always unforgettable. Their paw prints may have faded from the floor, but never from the heart.

Noelle
The OG Bulldog
The original queen of the castle, named after Noelle from Ladies of London. Noelle set the standard for every bulldog who came after—equal parts stubborn, fabulous, and impossible to ignore. She didn’t just walk into a room; she arrived.

Emma Jeanne
The Ribbon Collector
A champion in both show and discipline, Emma Jeanne strutted her stuff straight to the winner’s circle—earning more than 12 ribbons. She was sharp, stubborn, and always ready to remind everyone that perfection takes practice (and snacks).

George IV
The Royal Rascal
Noble in spirit, mischievous in execution. George carried himself like royalty but never missed a chance for trouble.

Madilyn
The Red Carpet Diva
Every walk was a runway. Madilyn lived life like she was constantly being photographed—and honestly, she deserved it.

Winston Churchill
The Gentleman Champion
With a name that demanded gravitas, Winston lived up to it in the ring—bringing home about 6 ribbons of his own. Equal parts regal and ridiculous, he proved you can be both a decorated champion and the loudest snorer in the house.

My Father
The Original Bulldog King
Long before Roxi claimed the couch and Xena perfected the art of the death stare, there was the man who started it all. My dad—the Original Bulldog King—was breeding bulldogs for as long as I can remember. His dogs weren’t just pets; they were living history, a lineage that traced proudly back to Britain.
From that legacy came some of my greatest companions: Noelle, the OG bulldog queen, Emma Jeanne, the ribbon-collecting champion, and Winston Churchill, the gentleman snorer who brought home his own set of wins. Each carried the mark of his devotion, his discipline, and his love for the breed.
He built more than bloodlines—he built a family of bulldogs that shaped my life, filled my memories, and left paw prints that will never fade. 👑🐾
